A new AI era is emerging where the scarce input is not model weights but megawatts. From nuclear-backed data centers to long duration contracts, compute is crystallizing into a regulated utility and a strategic reserve.

This week, money, silicon, and power fused

These transactions look similar on paper but solve different constraints. Nuclear agreements supply firm energy with high capacity factors and predictable output. We are early. The only way to meet the demand curve is to build a lot of everything: generation, substations, transmission, cooling, and more efficient algorithms.
